West Hills Park/ John Bynon Park

Description: This 14-acre park boasts a ton of sports activities for everyone to enjoy. Starting at the west parking lot there is a paved trail that stretches through the John Bynon Park. Along this trail are 2 playgrounds and two reserveable picnic shelters. The main attraction to this park is the 14 reserveable tennis courts that usually host competitions with local schools and other tennis leagues. Continuing down the trail is an outdoor basketball court and 4 reserveable baseball, softball, soccer and football fields that are also reserveable. This park also includes handicap accessible parking.

Description: Warriors Path State Park is a beautiful state park situated in a marvelous location in the Tri-Cities. There are many things for members of any age of the family to participate in. This park offers a beautiful campground with clean bathhouses, year round fishing, water activities on the pond and lake, nearly 12 miles of trails in the park woodlands, a paved walking path, horses and ponies at the park stables, picnic areas, playgrounds and much much more.

Description: This beautiful little park is seated right next to the Tennessee River. This park offers picnic tables, water access for boaters, and fishing docks. There are also swings to relax on while watching the boats go by and fountains for the kids to enjoy in the summer.

Victor Ashe Park

Description: Located near Western Avenue between Ball Camp Pike and Pleasant Ridge, Victor Ashe Park offers a smorgasbord of family activities. It's not too busy on weekdays, but can get pretty crowded on the weekends. The Little Tykes plastic play structure is in pretty good condition and is ideal for the little ones who aren't so surefooted. Unlike some structures its not too far off the ground. There are plenty of swings to avoid long waits. The park doesn't front a busy road and is compact so mom can keep a watchful eye from most spots around the playground. Get in shape walking the 0.67 mile paved Greenway that loops around the soccer field and over a quaint footbridge. Play a little disc golf or let Fido off the leash in the Dogwood Park.

Description: Tyson Park is one of Knoxville's largest accessible playgrounds. With tons of swings and obstacles to keep the kids occupied for hours. Tyson Park has a great walking trail that is handicap accessible and stroller friendly. Tyson Park is also well known for its massive softball fields or team Tennis courts that are accessible at night, three large reservable picnic shelters, and accessible rest rooms makes this park a fun destination.

Description: This is a small peaceful park with a nice shady paved walking trail next to a beautiful creek. There is a small playground with monkey bars, a swing set, and a small play structure with 2 slides. There is one small picnic pavilion and several picnic tables and benches throughout the park.
