Netiquette
Netiquette refers to some widely accepted standards for behaving politely online. Let's use it to try to maintain a positive and informative site that welcomes all moms regardless of their beliefs. As such 'name calling' or bullying will not be tolerated. So, we ask that you 'think before you post', don't forget we are all real people with real feelings. When posting a negative comment about a professional or business, try to stick to the facts and keep the emotion to a minimum, not only is it considerate, your statement will have more impact. We won't all agree on everything, but if we give or receive advice, ideas, feedback and support with good intentions we should all get along.

The My Profile function is for social networking and personal use only. Please do not set up a business listing here as it will be removed. Negative Comments/Reviews
Both positive and negative reviews of experiences are useful to moms. If you have a negative review/opinion to share with other moms, please share it in a courteous manner.

No commercial offers can be made. You cannot advertise products, services, home parties, events, etc. that are for profit.   Activities and events that are non-profit (i.e. yard sales, consignment sales, etc) are the exception and may require a copy of non-profit status documentation.     

As a security and privacy safeguard, no phone numbers, mailing or email addresses are allowed.  

No explicit language, photographs, imagery is permitted.  

Please do not use the private reply function to solicite business.

What can I do about obnoxious users or posts I consider objectionable?
Either click Report It or send an email to jamesa@knoxmoms.com, and we'll take a look. Please bear in mind that this is an open forum, and we very rarely delete posts. We urge users to treat each other with respect even when opinions differ.
