String quartets from The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra will be reading stories and playing music for pre-school aged children as part of the orchestra’s Story Time Program. The theme for this season’s program is Shall We Dance? Musicians will read books that introduce string instruments (I Know A Shy Fellow Who Swallowed A Cello) and explore the different types of dance (Giraffes Can’t Dance), as well as do the Hokey-Pokey. These performances will prepare children for the KSO’s Family Concert on November 22 featuring the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra and animated character Picardy Penguin. They're free, fun AND engaging for the little ones with short attention spans
