What Do You Do with Leftover Candy?

While my 2 year old is very possessive about his candy (he must try a bite of every piece before it hits his bucket), we actually have too much candy at house. So rather than let it go to my hips, we're thinking of donating it...

Here are a few places that could use your unwrapped candy, but be sure to contact them first to double check!

*Operation Gratitude or Operation Shoebox - sends care packages to our troops overseas and candy is one of the most popular items in every package. The troops also give away the candy to children where they're posted.

*Ronald McDonald House Charities accepts candy donation for kids.

*Food pantries, shelters, pediatric wards and nursing homes are happy to be able to give out a treat along with the meals.
